RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

  • Research Assistant, Wireless Communication and Signal Processing Lab, ECE, BSU (Jan, 2018 - Present)

    • Project 1: 60 GHz Channel Measurement

      • Led and conducted 60 GHz channel measurements campaign at Boise Airport and Boise State University.

      • Obtained hands-on laboratory experience with the signal generator, oscilloscope, RF measurements, and test equipment.

      • Presented channel measurement data and results in a conference (IEEE globalSIP, 2018)

    • Project 2: 73 GHz Path-loss Measurement

      • Led, designed, and built the setup for the 73 GHz channel measurement test.

      • Performed path loss measurement campaigns in complicated environments, e.g., Boise Airport.

      • The paper on this experiment got accepted in IEEE-VTC Fall, 2019 conference.

    • Project 3: Reflection and Penetration Characteristics Measurement at E-bands

      • Currently working on reflection and penetration characteristics at E- bands (60-90 GHz) for future 5G communication.

      • Writing a journal article detailing the results of the research.

    • Led, designed, and built the whole lab setup for channel measurement at millimeter-wave frequency.
